Dr. Chevray has been certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery since 2001, and he continues to dedicate his career to all of his patients. He performs breast and body surgeries for women and men using the surgical skills he has refined throughout his career in medicine. Dr. Chevray is also a leading breast reconstruction surgeon in the Houston, TX area where he strategically performs all stages of flap-based and implant-based breast reconstructions for women as a part of their cancer treatment. He provides guidance and compassion when consulting with his patients facing several surgeries for breast reconstruction. As a graduate of the prestigious Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Dr. Chevray earned his medical degree and Ph.D. in molecular biology. He completed an internship and residency in general surgery and a plastic surgery residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. He also has eight years of surgical experience at the world-renowned MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX, where he performed the most breast reconstruction surgeries, and helped train many of the breast reconstruction plastic surgeons practicing in the Houston region. You can rely on Dr. Chevray as your best advocate in planning and performing your surgery.

At Chevray Plastic Surgery, breast reconstruction is a personal choice. If you need to make a decision whether or not to have surgery, we will educate you on the best method. Dr. Chevray will guide you in making choices that fit your lifestyle, desires, and surgical expectations. He will explain in detail the physical demands of breast reconstruction as all reconstructions typically take at least two surgeries. Your health is most important to us, and we will give you the risks and benefits of each technique. Even if you opt out of having a breast reconstruction, we will honor that decision just the same. You can be fitted for an external breast prosthesis as an alternative to surgery. We are here for you. If you change your mind and choose to have a breast reconstruction months or years after your mastectomy, we are also here for you.
